Birthday Card

Hi there,

Happy Friday to you all!  Hope you're enjoying your day!

I have a card to share that was submitted at Turtle Soup for their TTT Tuesday Challenge - Using Vellum.

This is my "Birthday" card:
I used vellum leaves, cut with my Sizzix leaf die.

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, White Cardstock
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Ribbon
Sizzix Leaf Die
Vellum Leaves
Flower
Circle Punch
Rub on Sentiment
Sketch: Splitcoast Stampers (SC378)

Here's a closer look at the vellum leaves.  The vellum had a gold pattern on it... which makes these leaves really cool.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Delightful

Hi there,

Hope you're all having a wonderful start to the long weekend!

I have a layout to share that was submitted at Colorful Creations for The Theme Park (themeparknovember) Challenge.  You can see the challenge here.

For the month of November... the theme is DELIGHTFUL.

Here's my layout aptly titled, "Delightful."
One of the many favorite photos taken while we were at our daughter's Basic Training graduation.  I was so happy my sister was able to go and meet us there.  What a fun time we had!!  Even though it was a VERY cold day... we still had a good time.

Supplies used:
Paper: K&Co., Colorbok
Ribbon
EK Success Border Punch
Fiskars Border Punch
Swirly Bling: Home Made
Nestabilities Dies
Sticker Page Title
Cardstock Die Cut Strip
Flowers
Gems: Home Made
Sketch: Page Maps (Feb 2010)

I made a heart shape using a transparency, heart template and puffy paint.  Isn't is cute?

Two border punches were used below the photo and ribbon and bow were added.  The strip under the photo is a cardstock sticker.

Here's my flower cluster.  Various flowers and gems as well as bling were added between the photo and page title.

Another look at the swirly bling and page title.  Since the page title sticker was so small, I matted it on die shapes.

And yet another look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
