Funny Boy

Hi!
Here's another layout that was completed yesterday.  Yup, it was pretty quiet around our house on Christmas Eve!  But today was much better, with our grandson here to open his presents and take all sorts of funny photos!  :)

Anyhow, here's my layout that was submitted at ScrapMuch? for their Sketch'y Friday.  This is the sketch:

This is my layout:
Our cute little grandson having so much fun with a pair of gloves/mittens and a cat bed!  While I was sitting in the dining room, he brought the cat's bed out, got his gloves on and sat in the cat's bed, sharing it with Tom.  It was just too cute to resist... and I had to take some photos.  Of course, he also had to make some funny faces too.

Supplies used:
Paper: K&Co.
Distressing
Font: Cricut Opposites Attract
Cricut
Flowers
Gems
Ribbon
Tag
Sharpie Marker
Washi Tape: Hand Made

I decided to write some journaling on this part, even though it was patterned paper.  A bit hard to read, but I needed to journal.

You can see the distressing better in this photo, as well as the title.

I had so much fun making my own washi tape!  I ran out of ideas after awhile though, but I'm going to give it another try with fresh ideas.  I used double stick tape, glitter paint and stamps.  There are so many other things you can experiment with in making your own tape.

I received these cute flowers as a prize for a challenge I participated in.  All I had to do was add the gems in the centers.

I was trying to get a photo of the glittery tape, but it didn't turn out so well.  I hope you get the idea.

Hope you enjoyed your visit and decide to stop in again.
Libby  :)
