Windy

Hello,

This layout was submitted at Sketch N Scrap for their #23 Sketch Challenge.  This is the sketch I had to work with:

And here's my layout:
I remember these photos of our daughter like it was yesterday!  I wanted to take a photo of her while we were on the Ferry and just as soon as I snapped the photo, her hair was blown around, completely covering her face!  I couldn't believe it!  In the next photo, I was sure to snap the shot before the wind took her hair again!  Man, we had a great laugh over this!!

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Ribbon
Silver Metal Frame: Leeza Gibbons
Flowers
Vellum & Metal Circle Tag
Perfect Pearls Mists
Tag: C-Thru Stencils
Pop Dots
Rub on Title Letters: American Crafts

What a fun way to liven up a page... by using pearl mists.  Love this stuff!
The rub on letter were added after the misting dried.

Ribbon was added over the horizontal strip of paper.  A vellum/silver tag was tucked under one corner of the photo and a flowers over that.  The larger flowers were were also misted.  The smaller flowers came with the gems already on them.  A good-sized package for only $1!!  What a deal!
A small tag tucks under the photo with hidden journaling.

My journaling.  A glitter flower was adhered at the end of the tag, making it a bit easier to pull it out to read the journaling.

These metal frames are heavy!  But this looks so cool on this page.  I added a small flower to it.
The frame is tucked under the photo, which made the photo stick out, so I added pop dots under the photo to it was more level.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Libby  :)

  5. So simple. I love the way the colors compliment your pictures and the way you used the stripped paper to go with the striped shirt the girl is wearing. Thanks for playing at SNS.
