Hello,
Today was a "day reserved for me" to get totally annoyed with electronics! If I didn't love my laptop, mouse and printer so much they would have been thrown out the door!! One problem at a time would be nice.... but they all decided to go on the blink on the same day! Grrrr!
After getting totally frustrated I unplugged and turned off everything... and as hard as it was for me to do... I walked away from it for awhile.
It worked! I turned everything back on and "It's a Miracle!" Everything settled down, including me!
Now if I could just "speed up" my laptop, I'd be golden!
Today's layout was submitted at Let's Get Sketchy for their January Week 4 Challenge.
Here's the sketch:
This is what I created:
This is Linda and I on our way to climb Katahdin. A very long hike/climb... around 12 hours... but the view at the top is absolutely gorgeous! All you see is beauty everywhere... absolutely amazing.
Supplies used:
Paper: K&Co., Colorbok
Distressing
Twine
Tag
Die Cuts
Butterflies cut from pp
EK Success Border Punch
Color Mists: Wilton
Perfect Pearls Mists
Staples
The three strips were distressed and misted. Twine was knotted around two of the strips and the middle strip has a thin piece of paper folded for a trim.
The butterflies were cut from cardstock paper that I found in my stash. I folded the wings and adhered them to the page only in the centers.
The tag has a grouping of leaves and a large compass which was distressed and misted. A tree cardstock die cut was distressed a bit and the tips slightly turned up. Leaves were added around the compass.
Twine was wrapped in a circle and stapled at the top of the tag.
The border punched edges were distressed and misted. The title was cut from pp. And you can see a little of the misting.
Here's the right side of my page, giving you a glimpse of the dimension.
Here's a better look at the left side of my page... and the Pearl misting.
Hope you had a better day than me!
Happy crafting!

ReplyDeleteI love your layout, the colors you chose really highlight the photos nicely! I had one of those days with photoshop yesterday, took me almost 45 minutes to crop and edit a layout, it was really slow and then just kept shutting off and I'd have to start over...I did the same thing, shut off the computer and walked away...lol thanks for sharing your page with us at lgs!!
