Hi there,
I've been crafting away... and having so much fun in my new "space." I say "space" because it isn't officially my new craft room. So much room... that I could fill up in a heartbeat! :)
I have another layout to share with you today that was submitted at Sketch N Scrap for a chance to be their July Guest Designer. Excited to try it... and I love this sketch too.
For a chance to be their Guest Designer, just create a layout based on this sketch and link up your blog post in their challenge thread. You can see the challenge here.
Here's what I created:
This is our daughter and her friend, our grandson and my hubby marching in the Memorial Day Parades in 2010. I had so much fun snapping... like... a bazillion photos of them! :)
Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, My Mind's Eye
Ribbon
Rub on Stitches
Pop Dots
Title Sticker
Gold Cording
Star Sequins
Ribbon and cardstock banners are in the upper right with rub on stitches over the edge.
The stars were cut from templates and a pop dot was adhered under the larger star.
A also added a pop dot under this star too.
I had a bag of various sequins and found these cute teeny tiny stars... which were perfect for my page. Not so fun to adhere... but I did it!! :)
After cutting the circle I covered it with ribbon, trimmed around it and added the star. The star bursts is gold cording.
The sticker was matted onto cardstock and adhered with pop dots.
Here's a look at the right side of my page.
A closer look at the ribbon circle, star and gold star bursts.
The cardstock banner was curled using a pen and only adhered to the page where it meets the background.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
LOVE your star and the gold cording on the starburst, so creative! Great job with this sketch, thanks for joining our challenge!
ReplyDeleteWow Libby there are so many gorgeous elements to your page, as I am a sucker for sequins at the moment your little star ones are my favourite thing on your layout!
