Uniforms

Hello,

Here's a layout that was submitted for the Colorful Creations May Sketch-a-Thon.  And here is the direct link to my Sketch Challenge (libbymay).

Today is the day to post MY sketch and example layout!  Woo hoo!  Hope you'll stop by and check it out.

Here's my May 10th Sketch:

And this is my example layout:
It was so terribly hot this day... when we all had to wear uniforms and march in the July 4th Parade.  Everyone was sweating like crazy after walking around the block in the sweltering heat!
I had to hurry and get this photo and Dylan decided to have some fun and crouched down between them!  Silly bugger!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, Other
Ink: A la mode Light Brown
Sizzix Leaf Die
Flowers: Hand Made
Self-adhesive Pearls
Gold Color Mist: Wilton
Perfect Pearls Mist: Heirloom Gold
Rub ons: American Crafts
Sticker Title Squares: Sticko

I added the title following the circle.

Rub ons were added to the right of the flowers and above the journaling block.

I lightly inked the edges of the block.

These flowers are so totally cool to make!  I misted them with a gold color mist and Perfect Pearls Mist and added a self-adhesive pearl for their centers.  Aren't they the cutest?

I tucked leaves under the flowers and pinched them at the tips for some definition.

A closer look at a couple of the flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
