New Beginnings

Hello,

Here's a layout that was submitted at Sketches 4 All for the June Lift Me Challenge (Lift Me).  You can see the challenge here.

The challenge - To lift this layout... and it doesn't have to be the whole layout... maybe just portions that you like... such as the burlap, stars, buttons, tags, banners, etc.

Here's what I created:

I "lifted" the entire sketch!  Loved the banner, tag, buttons and journaling block.

This is our son, so excited to be holding his little nephew who is only 1 day old.  Love this photo... and that sweet beaming smile... so happy to be an Uncle!

Distressing 

The heart was cut from pp and the edges were distressed.  I added a button too.

The journaling block was distressed as well as the word "love" tucked in the upper corner (which was also cut from pp).

My page title was also cut from pp (I utilized this sheet of words well)!!!  :)

I cut the words apart and matted them onto a dark pp.

Twill was stapled at the top of the tag, another word and swirl from pp was added... and a button finishes off this portion of my page.

 Love this sweet banner!  Home made twine was stapled on one end and tucked under the photo.
