At the Top

Hi there,

I have a layout to share that was submitted at Turtle Soup for their Mini Crop Challenge.  You can see the challenge here.

Here are the 5 items to use on your layout:

1. Fiber
2. More than one photo
3. Layering
4. A border strip
5. Red or white or blue or any combination thereof

Here's what I created:
This is our Boy Scout Troop at the top of Katahdin at Baxter State Park.  This park is such a beautiful place with tons of hiking trails, great camping sites and awesome views... if you feel ambitious enough to climb to the top!

The photo on the left is my son, hubby and myself.  The photo on the left is the Troop that made it to the top (the 3 of us are in this photo too).

I used all 5 requirements.

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok, My Mind's Eye
Burlap
Twine
Perfect Pearls Mist
Sharpie Marker
Fiskars Border Punch
Cardstock Letters
Sketch: Page Maps (Jan 2009)

A border strip was used on the left.  A strip of burlap was used under the photos.

The banner title was matted onto white cardstock.  A small strip of twine was knotted around the "O."

The white cardstock was misted with Perfect Pearls.

A closer look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
