Two Cards, Same Sketch

Hi there,

Here's a set of cards that was submitted at Turtle Soup for their 8/2 Friday Inspiration Challenge.  You can see the challenge here.

This is the inspiration photo:

Simply create a project using the above photo as your inspiration.  You have the option of making 1 layout, 2 cards, 2 tags or two ATC's.

I decided to create 2 cards, using the same sketch and the same papers.  One is a feminine card and the other is a masculine card.

I was inspired by the colors...mostly all the green with a touch of yellow.  Even though it doesn't look like it in these photos... my cards are mostly green.
Here's the two cards together.

This card is pretty plain.... but for a masculine card... it doesn't seem right to me to add flowers, lace, etc.
Burlap was added  between the two pp.  A small sticker sentiment was added in the lower right and 3 buttons with cording from the burlap knotted through each one.

Here's a closer look.

Ahhhh... here's a card more my style!  A feminine card complete with flowers and a butterfly!  :)
The background was embossed.  The leaves were cut from a paper bag and the butterfly was cut from pp and the wings folded up for some dimension.  The flowers and gems are home made.  A metal sentiment was added in the lower right.

 Some close ups for you.

Supplies used for both cards:
Paper: DCWV, White Cardstock
Burlap
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Sentiment Sticker: K&Co.
Buttons
Sizzix Leaf Die
Paper Bag Leaves
Metal Sentiment
Flowers: Home Made
Gems: Home Made
Sketch: Splitcoast Stampers (SC41)

Hope you liked my cards.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
