Favorite Memories

Hi there,

Here's a layout that was submitted at My Scraps and More for their Word Up Wednesday Challenge... to use the word "Favorite" on your layout.

This is my page titled, "Favorite Memories."
My family all in uniform... ready to march in the July 4th Parade just this past summer.  It was super special because this has been the first time they were all together AND all able to march in uniform!  One of them was always deployed or in basic training...

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV
Playing cards & Clocks: Cut from pp
Ribbon
Metal Embellie
Gems: Home Made
Sticker Page Title
Sketch: Page Maps (Sept 2007)

The metal embellie was knotted through ribbon.  The large clocks on this lighter paper was cut from pp.

Three gems were added in the upper left and ribbon was looped above the dark green ribbon.

The edges of the cards were folded and distressed a bit.  The page title was added over them and ribbon and bow below that.

A couple more playing cards were tucked under the photo.

A better look at the cards and title sticker.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
