Love and Joy

Hello again!

I have another layout that was submitted at Screen 2 Scrap http://screen2scrap.blogspot.com.au/
for their Movie Poster 'From Paris with Love' Challenge.

Here's the movie poster inspiration:

Extra criteria:
1 pt = White background/Base Cardstock
2 pts = The word "Love" somewhere on your page
3 pts = An "Eiffel Tower" image/embellie

This is what I created using a sketch from Rochelle Spears:

My daughter and I just minutes before she boarded the plane for her deployment in September.

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, DCWV
Distressing w/Scissors
Flowers
Eiffel Tower Cut Out
Ribbons
Wood Accent: K&Co.
Gems: Glitterazzi
Swirl Gems: Forever in Time
Glitter Chipboard Heart: Colorbok
Creative Memories Decorative Cardstock: Used as template
Watercolor Pencil

The edges were distressed using scissors.  Works so much better than a sanding block!
The larger flower was layered with gems in the flower centers.
The background design was created using the decorative shapes cardstock as a template.

A couple of different papers were layered with ribbon added.
Love the glitter heart!  A wonderful, surprise find by walking through the isles at a
large department store.  :)

Here's the top portion of my Eiffel Tower.  I added a bow to the upper part with flowers
around it.
A color pencil added some color to the flower on the wooden accent and title.

A better look at the layering of papers and ribbons.

Another angle of my page which shows a better glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, the swirly bling
and flowers.

Have a wonderful day!
Libby  :)
