The Mime and the Clown

Hello!
I'm back again with another post.  Yes, I've been doing a LOT of scrapbooking lately.
I need to to this... it's wonderful therapy for the soul!  :)

This layout was submitted at Sketch N Scrap http://sketchnscrap.blogspot.com/
for their #21 Challenge.

Here's the sketch:

This is what I created:
What a great time the July 4th Parade in our hometown is each year!
One of our Boy Scouts and a friend, went as a clown and a mime, both riding
their unicycles.

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Distressing w/Scissors
Ribbon
Folk Art Extreme Glitter Paints
Folk Art Yellow Paint
Perfect Pearls Mists
Chipboard

I started by peeling off the top layer of color for each letter.
Next, I used small pieces of paper towels and dipped them in three different colors of
glitter paint (one paper towel for each color).  "The" words were painted yellow.
I finished off the letters by spritzing them with Pearls Mists.
Love how they turned out!
And the best part is... I can use the top part of the chipboard that I peeled off, at another time!  What a deal!

Giving you a better view of the distressing.  A strip of ribbon was added on the green
cardstock.

The photo edges were also distressed.

A closer, straight-on shot of my title letters.

Thanks for stopping by!
