Boy Scout Camp

Hello!
I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday.

Let's get right to it!  I have a layout to share that was submitted at Scrappy Sketches http://scrapysketches.blogspot.com/
for their Mid Week Sketch 49-12.  This sketch caught my eye, so I thought I'd play along.

This is the sketch:

Here's my layout:
Boy Scout Camp.... such a fun place to be or even to visit!  Boys come from all over to
spend a week at camp learning, having fun and making lots of friends.

These photos show the boys all lined up with their troops for the morning opening ceremony
and evening closing ceremony.  A boy from each troop is asked to "report" if all the other
troop members are "present" or "absent."  If any boys are absent they tell where they are.

It's such a great place for the boys to learn manners, respect, being honest, being helpful and kind,
which are just a few of the things that (should) mean so much in their growing process.
In my opinion, every boy should have the chance to experience Boy Scouts and what they
are all about.

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Distressing
Die Cuts (from packaging)
Stickers
Cardstock Stickers: Paper House
Rub on Title: K&Co.
Twine
Pop Dots

The papers and die cuts were distressed.

Twine is along the bottom of this blocking.  Pop Dots were used under the die cuts.

A better look at my grouping.  Twine was adhered under the title block.  The tent and word "CAMP"
are rub ons and the "Boy Scout" above that was actually from the packaging that the die cuts were in.

Thanks for looking!
Libby  :)
