Hello,
Well, this time, I'm hoping to get this uploaded to the challenge site BEFORE the deadline!
Here is a fun layout submitted at Let's Get Sketchy for their December Week 2 sketch challenge.
The sketch:
And here's my layout:
My cute little niece having fun at our son's expense! She always has a cute smile on her
face whenever I point my camera at her! Isn't she adorable?
Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, K&Co., Colorbok
Foam Letters
Folk Art Paint
Flowers (unknown brand)
Circles
I found these adorable flowers in my stash with no company name on them. :(
So cute and matches my page so well!
I found these self-adhesive foam letters in the craft department of our local store. I really
didn't think I would ever use them, so they stayed in the package.
In looking for something different for my title letters, I came across these. Of course, they
were all sorts of bright, primary colors.
Not a problem... I dug out my paint and paintbrush and loaded them with paint, making sure
to get the sides too and that it was thick enough so the other colors wouldn't show through.
I wanted them to have some texture, so I dabbed huge blobs of paint on them.
I think they came out pretty cool looking! Best of all, when the paint dried, all I had to do
was peel and stick!
A better look at the letters and the texture.
I also added a smaller bouquet of flowers on the lower circle.
Hope you like it!
Stop in again soon!
Libby :)
