Hi there!
Yes, I know, Christmas is over, but I really wanted to share these two cute tags that I made for a couple different challenges in December.
The first tag was submitted at Sketches 4 All for their Creative Tags Challenge.
This is my cute little tag:
Isn't this the cutest snowman?
For the tag base, I mixed alcohol ink and glitter paint and "painted" it with a scrunched up paper towel. A large paper snowflake was cut in half and adhered under the snowman. The wire strips of the silver sheer snowflake ribbon was snipped off and the ribbon used at the top of the tag and the wire strips were used as trim above and below the center paper on the tag.
Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV
Alcohol Ink: Adirondack
Paper Snowflake
Silver Mesh Ribbon
Sheer Snowflake Wire Ribbon
Dimensional Snowman
Cardstock Sentiment
Pop Dots
Folk Art Glitter Paint
Across the bottom of the tag I wrapped sheer mesh ribbon around it a few times for the illusion of snow.
A better look at the upper portion of the tag. The title was adhered with pop dots and the edges were stained. Silver wire ribbon was cut off the ribbon and the wire portions used as trim at the top and bottom of the middle portion.
My next tag was submitted at Colorful Creations for their Tag Challenge (RachTAG05).
Here's my tag:
The bottom portion of the tag is covered with felt. Two strips of ribbon were used to cover where the cardstock and felt meet. Two small brads were added in the lower corner. The flowers were from a Christmas bouquet purchased at a discount store. The holly was added under the flowers. The glittery snowflake with a sentiment in the center is actually a tag. Wire garland was used at the top of the tag.
Supplies used:
Paper: American Crafts
Wire Garland
Sentiment Glitter Snowflake
Holly Sticker: Paper Bliss
Flowers
Decorative Ribbon
Gem Brads
Felt
A closer look at the felt, flowers and gem brads.
This is a better look at the top portion of the tag.
Thanks for checking out my blog!
