Hi there!
We got the first major snowstorm of the season last night and today. We got dumped with 14-16 inches of SNOW! Yuck!
What's worse is that we HAD to be out there driving in it!!! Blah!
Today's layout was submitted at White With 1 Challenge Blog for their December color challenge.
Use: White + Red + Christmas Photo
This is what I created, using a sketch from Stickers N Fun (Nov 2006).
Our son, opening his best Christmas gift!
I realized after completing this layout that it looked kind of "girly!" I didn't plan it this way, I was just creating and adding things and before I knew it, I had bows on here! Oh well!
I needed to fill in the extra space above the title... and in playing around with the ribbon, this is what I came up with... and I liked it!
Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok
Ribbons
Garland
Sheer Swirls Wire Ribbon
Font: Cricut Opposites Attract
Cricut
Sharpie Marker
I was going to just add a strip of ribbon across the top, but since I already had two sides covered with the ribbon, it was too much. Instead, I ended up with this bow!
It represents the Christmas present... and all the beautiful ribbons and bows I always add to my gifts!
I simply scrunched it together in the center and added ribbon.
More playing around with ribbon... and I love how this ended up! The white with red is so sharp-looking!
Isn't this ribbon gorgeous? A large roll for $1!! My kind of price! :)
I hid the wire by tucking it under the cardstock and folded around the edges.
Garland was added and a cute bow. Another bow... oh well!
Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Very pretty layout. I love your idea of arranging those white ribbons. If I my, I'd like to scraplift your idea.
