Bug-a-Boo

Hello,

My next layout was submitted at The Color Rooms for their Sketch and Palette #141.  Here is the palette:

Here's the sketch:

This is what I created:
This is our sweet little grandson playing with the mini keyboard and having a blast.  He knew exactly which buttons to press for it to play certain tunes and he had his favorite tunes... and would press that same button over and over again... laughing and having so much fun!  Love those chubby little cheeks!!

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Distressing
Title Letters: Traced
EK Success Circle Punches
Mini Buttons
Heart Button
Paper Clip
Sharpie Marker
Perfect Pearls Mists
Folk Art Paints
Charms Embellies: Darice
Rub on Stitches

I mixed two paints together to get as close to the palette color as possible.  Then, used a sponge brush to brush the strokes in horizontal lines along the left side of the page.
Various circles, buttons and a paper clip were added in this grouping.

The edges of my quote block were distressed, as well as the oval with the age and date above that.
You can also see a partial of the rub on stitches under the photo and onto the quote block.

The letters were various colors that didn't match with my page, so I traced  them onto the red cardstock and distressed the edges.

The background was misted.

Red and blue buttons were added randomly.

Found these cute charms in my stash.  Love finding long lost items... especially when they are exactly what I'm looking for!

A closer look at a few letters.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day!
Libby  :)
