Cherish

Hello,

Here's a layout that was submitted at Sketches With Color for their January 15 Challenge.
The challenge:  Use the Sketch + Color Combo + Butterflies.

Here's the sketch:

And the color palette:

This is what I created:
Looking at this photo reminds me just how fast our children grow up.  They were 11 years old and 11 1/2 months old for this photo.

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok
Fiskars Border punch
Swirls: Traced & hand cut
Flowers
Seam Binding Rosette: Hand Made
Distressing
Gems: Glitterazzi & Forever in Time
Color Mists: Wilton
Perfect Pearls Mists
Beaded Flower: Leeza Gibbons
Cardstock Heart Sticker: Daisyd's
Rub on
Sharpie Marker
Ribbon
Butterfly Gems

Love these cardstock stickers from winning a challenge!  Woohoo!  :)
I added the rub on and beaded flower.

The background paper and swirls were misted.  I used a border punch along the top of my journaling block and distressed the edges.

Aren't these the cutest?  I found these at a discount store a year or so ago.  I hesitated on purchasing them because of the color and was so happy to actually be able to use at least one of them!  I added a gem in the center.

Here's my flower grouping.  I layered several flowers for the largest flower and added a bow in the center.  A variety of flowers were added around it and gems added in the centers.  I also added two cute butterfly gems.  The rosette was made with seam binding ribbon.

I think from this photo you can get a better look at the misting.

Thanks for stopping by!
