My Girl

Hi there,

Well, I brought our dog and cat to the Vet today for their annual check up and shots.  Everything is good for another year.  Yay!
Another COLD day today.  And I actually got some scrappin done too!

This is a layout that was submitted at Sketchabilities for their #82 Sketch Challenge.  Here's the sketch:

This is what I created:
Here's some older photos of my daughter and I in February of 1987.  I think we were doing a "photo shoot" because Lynn's hair is all curly and fluffed out.  All those years later and she still has the same sweet smile!

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Other
Martha Stewart Border Punch
Various Flowers
Gems: Forever in Time, Studio 112 & Glitterazzi
Distressing
Hearts
Title Stickers: Miss Elizabeth's
Butterflies cut from pp

The butterflies were cut from pp and adhered only in the center so the wings would lift off the page.  The heart was distressed.

My title letters were clear stickers that matched so well with my page.  Love it!

A strip of border punching, banners, heart, butterflies and flowers complete this grouping around the photo.

A closer look at the butterflies and flowers/gems.

This is the right side of the page, giving you a better look at the large banner and other flower grouping.

Thanks for taking a peek at my Blog.
