Nature's Best

Hi there!

Well, this is my final post for today.
This layout was submitted at Paper Secrets  for their January 15 Sketch Challenge with a Twist.
The "twist" is to use twine.

This is the sketch:

And here is what I created:

This is our son and grandson walking through the fields.  They looked so "casual" while gabbing away.  I was glad to be able to take a couple photos of this memory.

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Twine
Cardstock Title
Distressing
EK Success Border Punch
Chenille Ribbon: American Crafts

The clouds were traced from a die cut and the edges distressed.

After punching this strip of cardstock, I ran my fingers across them to "roughen" them up a bit.

Ok, this is where I used my twine... around the title block.  For the corners, I twisted the twine until it looped and then glued it in place.  A bow was added above, on top of the chenille ribbon.

Here's a better look at the chenille ribbon and distressing.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you'll pop in again real soon!
