Hi there,
I have a layout to share that was submitted at Scrap Much for their Sketch-y Friday sketch challenge. This is the sketch:
And this is what I created:
This is our very spoiled cat, Geri. Since we are empty nesters, Geri gets her own place on the couch, with her own fluffy blanket! There's no one around to keep moving her "bed" so she has the the best life! Can't get much better than that. Doesn't she look comfy?
Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Flowers
Gems: Forever in Time
Distressing
Clear Sticker Title: Miss Elizbeth's
Pop Dots
Rub on Stitches: DCWV
Glitter Button
I added a couple of rows of rub on stitches in the upper left of my page and added a flower/gem.
The sticker was adhered onto cardstock, distressed and matted.
The flower was cut from pp and adhered to the page in the corner and pop dots were added under the petals for some dimension.
The original die cut shape under the photo was smaller, so with some creative tracing, I made it larger and matted it.
Isn't this the sweetest button? Love it!
The large pink flower is from a lei that was purchased from a discount store and a button was added in the center. Light yellow flowers were also added with gems in the centers and around the grouping.
Thanks for stopping by!
