Six

Hello,

Hope you're all having a wonderful, peaceful Sunday.

I have a layout to share that was submitted at Sketches 4 All for their Stash Challenge (STACY25).  The challenge is to make your own pp.

This is what I created, using a sketch from Designs by Diana.

Our son when he was (which is obvious) 6 years old.  That "smile" is the cutest!!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok
String
Glitter Foam Shapes
"Joy" Bubble
Wooden Circle Quote
Distressing
Stampin' Up! Border Punch
Stampin' Up! Stamps
Title Circle Stickers: Sticko
Sharpie Marker
Cheesecloth
Mister Huey's Color Mist: Shine
Inks: A la mode Red, A la mode Blue
Circle Punch

I twisted two strands of string together to create the banner.  Circles were punched from two different colors of cardstock and overlapping so both colors would show.  I was psyched when these sticker letters fit perfectly onto the cardstock circles!  I folded the two circles on each end in half, wrapping it around the string.

 A closer look.

I've had these foam glitter shapes forever and "found" them and decided they would be fun to use on my page.  The large circle was cut, cheesecloth added and then the shapes and finally a wooden sentiment circle.  I added a  small metal bubble word beside that.

A better look at my grouping... and another look at my stamped background.

I used several stamps from two different sets to create my background using blue and red inks.

My journaling block was traced from a template and matted.  I inked the edges of the white cardstock with blue ink.

Here's another look at my home made patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by!
