Called for Duty

Hello there!

The S-U-N is finally shining!  I almost forgot what that looked like!  It is still cool out there though... but I'll take the sun.

I have a layout to share that was submitted at Colorful Creations for their May 27 Sketch-a-Thon (ANNEMAY).  You can see the challenge here.

This is the sketch for May 27:

And this is what I created:
Our daughter while she was in Afghanistan.

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, DCWV
Stampin' Up! Border Punch
Ribbon
3D Sticker Title: Reminisce
Clear Sticker Quote
Cork board Shapes
Swirl & Frame for title: Hand Made
Perfect Pearls Mist: Heirloom Gold
Gold Color mist
Distressing

The corkboard was misted with two different mists.

The 3D embellie was matted on this shape that I hand cut.

The paper strips were misted with Perfect Pearls.  The sticker was matted onto cardstock, trimmed and the edges distressed.

I traced the swirl from a template I had, misted it and also distressed the edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
