Smile

Hi there,

I have a layout to share that was submitted at Sketch N Scrap for their Sketch Challenge #33.  Since I love sketches so much and I had the perfect photo... I decided to play along.  You can see the challenge here.

Here's the sketch:

This is what I created:
Our nephew doesn't visit very often... so it was only natural for me to get a photo of us.  He's such a fun kid!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, My Mind's Eye
Chipboard Title
Gold Cording
Rub ons
Ribbon Banners & Date Tab

Such a sweet chipboard title.

I decided to try something different with the banner and cut ribbon into banners and added rub ons to them.  Love how it turned out.  So cool!  What do you think?

I folded a ribbon and tucked it under the photo as a tab.  The marker bled a bit.... but it still looks ok.

Here's a closer look at the ribbon banners and rub ons.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

  2. That is certainly something I have never done to add rubons to ribbon, (storing that little tip away for future use).
I also love that chipboard 'Smile' it says it all really.
Thanks so much for playing along with us Libby. xx
