Bloom

Hello,

Another layout to share that was submitted at Archi-scraps for their August Challenge... which I'm also a Design Team member of too!  Fabulous site... hop on over there and check it out.  And the best part... you have the ENTIRE month of August to participate!  Lots of time to create your project.

Here's the inspiration photo for this month:
The criteria is to use FLOWERS.

And... here's the prize you'll be playing for.  Have I enticed you yet?

Sponsored by Linda:

Aren't these flowers GORGEOUS?  You just gotta play along!  :)

As a bonus... if the winner is an Australian resident, add this code ARCHI and they will receive 10% off their first order of flowers.  How cool is that?  Sadly, I'm not an Aussie...  :(

Here's the link to their site:

Here's what I created.  I was inspired by the stone wall, greens, pinks, flowers and cream color.
This is a few of the flowers in my flower gardens.  I absolutely love peonies!  They're so beautiful!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, Other
EK Success Border Punch
Flowers/Leaves
Gems: Home Made
Ribbon
Sticker Page Title
Sharpie Marker
Journaling Block: We R Memory Keepers
Bracket: Traced and hand cut
Perfect Pearls Mist
Sketch: Page Maps (Nov 2009)

I layered several flowers and added leaves under it with a home made gem in the center.

The sticker is already matted and love the 3D embellies on it too.  All I had to do was add it to my page!

This flower was added just above the journaling.  The blue and green cardstock were misted and I used a border punch along one edge.

For something different, I added a bracket just below the journaling.

Below the journaling I added a flower cluster with different sized flowers and gems.

Over the ribbon I added three home made gems.

Here's a look at the right side of my page.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope to see you at Archi-scraps!  :)
