"Dogs" Layout

Hello,

I didn't add a page title on my layout... so I was at a loss on what to put for my post title.

This layout was submitted at Sketches With a Twist for their August Sketch Challenge.  You can see the challenge here.

This is the sketch:
The twist:  Use a safety pin.

Here's what I created:
This is our dog (Zoe) and our daughter's dog (Max).  They're best friends.  Even though Zoe sometimes gets annoyed with Max, they have lots of fun together!
In this photo, hubby is holding a tiny piece of food above them... and immediately, both of them are totally focused on that!  So funny!  :)

Supplies used:
Paper: My Mind's Eye, Colorbok
Ribbon Trim: Webster's Pages
Flowers
Gems: Home Made
Sizzix Leaf Die
Vellum Leaves
Safety Pin
Beads

A flower and vellum leaves were added over the banner in the upper right of my page.

More banners are layered below the photo.  The beautiful yellow trim is from Webster's Pages.

A closer look.
I just found out that when I flip this ribbon over, I can snip the backing and have 3 strips of ribbon!  How cool is that!

Here's my flower cluster.  I have a variety of flowers and the yellow gems are home made.

And here's my safety pin!  I added a couple gold beads and this cute heart charm.

Above my flower cluster are more vellum leaves.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
