Happy Birthday Card

Hi there,

Here's a card that was submitted at MFP Speedy TV for their Sketch with a Twist Challenge 58 (8/6).  You can see the challenge here.

This is the sketch:

The twist:  Use hexagons.

Here's my "Happy Birthday" card:
I embossed the background and all the hexagons.  Fibers were added behind the large blocking.  The sentiment square was distressed along the edges... and the sentiment was cut from pp.  The hexagons were adhered with pop dots.

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok, White Cardstock
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Distressing
Fibers
Pop Dots
Sentiment: Cut from pp

A closer look.

Hope you like my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Love the dimension and texture of your card. What a creative way of completing the sketch - with the layered panelling rather than a traditional image - great idea. Thanks for joining us on Sketch with a Twist this week. Good luck.
