Hiking

Hello,

Here's a layout that I submitted at MFP Speedy TV for their Scrapbook Challenge 26 (Aug 1st).  You can see the challenge here.

The criteria is to add BUTTONS and/or BOWS on your layout.

This is my layout titled, "Hiking."
This is Linda and I during one of the many hikes with our Boy Scout Troop.  This photo was taken at Deboullie Mountain.  It's such a beautiful place.  The boys have so much fun not only climbing the mountain but climbing the tower at the top too!  Everyone packs their lunch and at the top we enjoy the views while eating!  Fun times!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok
Buttons
Twine
Glitter Gems: Home Made
Ice Stickles
Sharpie Marker
Cardstock Letters
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Sketch: Splitcoast Stampers #37

The matting behind the photo was embossed and three buttons added to the right of the photo.

The cardstock letters were pretty plain... so I embossed them!  The sub title was hand written on a banner and then using a pencil, I curled the banner to make the curves in it.

The journaling block was added at the bottom right of my page.

A better look at the sub title banner.

Various flowers were added on each of the "blocks" below the photo.  Some flowers have buttons and others have home made glitter gems.  And two bows were added in this grouping too.

Here's the other portion.  I took three photos of this strip... so you could get a better look at it.  Stickles were added on the ends of the larger flowers.

Hope you enjoyed my layout.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Great layout Libby!! Love all the different flower blocks. Your embossing on the letters and the curled banner really add a lot to your title. Thanks for playing along in the MFPSpeedyTV scrapbook challenge this week. Blessings!
