Soccer

Hi there,

Hope everyone is having a fab weekend!
We were going to go on a long 4-wheeler ride... but problems arose and we had to turn around and go back home!  Bummer too... because it's a beautiful day out!

Here's a layout that was submitted at Soul Scrappers for their Sporting Theme Challenge (THC65).  You can see the challenge here.

The criteria:
1.  Use at least 2 sporting photos
2.  Use at least 2 sporting embellies
3.  Title must have a sporting word

Here's my layout titled, "Soccer."
This is Andrew (#13) at one of the bazillion soccer games that I went to!  Loved watching my boy play hard!

I used everything on the criteria list:  2 photos, 2 embellies (wood soccer balls and soccer button) and the large sporting word which is also the title of my page.

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Large Title Sticker
Wood Soccer Balls
Soccer Button
Twine
#'s: Cut from pp
Pop Dots
Brads
Stampin' Up! Border Punch
Sketch: Page Maps (Jan 2008)

The large sticker title was adhered with pop dots and a wood soccer ball was added "in the net!"  :)

The numbers were cut from pp and matted on pp and adhered with pop dots.  Twine was knotted through the button and adhered by the numbers.

Silver brads were added in the lower corner which says, "Go!"
Punched borders were layered and placed under the photo.

Another wood soccer ball was added on the right corner photo.  Another punched border was placed behind the pp.

Here's  a better look at the dimension created by using pop dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
