4th of July Holiday

Hello,

Here's a layout that was submitted at Soul Scrappers for their Cooking Up a Holiday Layout Challenge (CUCC19).  You can see the challenge here.

Here's the recipe:
1.  Use 2 photos
2.  Use the word "Holiday" in your title
3.  Use the colors blue, green and white as the dominant colors
4.  Use the paper weaving technique

Here's my layout titled, "4th of July Holiday."
Lynn and Andrew before marching in the July 4th Parade.  They were all smiles, excited to march together for the first time... all in uniform.  This is one proud mom!

I used all ingredients for the recipe:
1.  2 photos
2.  The word "Holiday" is in my title
3.  Used only the colors blue, green and white
4.  Paper weaving

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, DCWV
Flowers
Gems: Home Made
Bling: Recollections
Ribbon
Stickers
Sketch: Page Maps (Jan 2008)

Fun with stickers!  :)

I decided to paper weave half the page... took me awhile to complete... but love how it turned out!
On top of that I added bling!

After adding several shades of blue flowers, home made light blue gems were added in their centers.

Here's a closer look.

Ribbon was added between the two photos.

Here's a better look at the paper weaving.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
