Trick or Treat

Hi!

Here's a layout that was submitted at Paper Secrets for their October 1st Sketch With a Twist Challenge.  You can see the challenge here.

The sketch:

The Twist: Your layout must include dots and stripes.

Another sketch I loved and couldn't wait to create my layout!
Here it is... called "Trick or Treat."
This is Andrew and I all dressed up for Halloween.  I made his Ninja costume and my clown costume.  He loved the costume!!

Dots and stripes are seen throughout my page.  :)

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Darice Embossing Folders
3D Spider: K&Co.
String
Spider Web Stamp
Inks: Orange, Black, Brown
Clear Embossing Powder
Sticker Page Title: K&Co.
Foam Cat
Ribbon

The web was embossed... even though you can't see it very well.  I'm not one for spiders... but this 3D embellie is... well... should I say it?  Cute.  I added the string so it looks like it's really hanging down.

Lots of embossing and I used various colored ink pads to lightly rub across the raised edges to add some texture.  All kinds of dots and stripes going on here.

Two strips of ribbon were added in the bottom of my page.

The page title sticker was matted on cardstock and pp.  And I just had to add the foam black cat!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
