This Just In...

Hi there!

I have two layouts for today!  

My card making has been put on hold while I get totally engrossed in scrapbook layouts!

I used DCWV paper, White cardstock from ColorBok, pink ribbon, Sizzix leaf die, tissue paper to make the flowers which are held together with a gold brad, Sizzix flower die, lace fabric, sheer fabric, watercolor pencils, Diamond Stickles.

I really enjoy making tissue paper flowers.  They come together so easily and it's just so fun to "scrunch" until I get the look I want!  

This flower was made a little differently.... using tissue paper, lace fabric and sheer fabric.  The flowers and leaves were made with my Sizzix flower die and leaf die.  I added Diamond Stickles along the edges of the flower.

I love black and white (and red) but always seem to have a hard time getting a layout together using these colors.  I believe the sketch was from Creating Keepsakes.  I really like the results!

Supplies I used:  Paper, DCWV and White cardstock from ColorBok, white ribbon, Prima flower, adhesive red dot (these are so cool), black flower (unknown) and silver ribbon which I twisted around in a circle to create the center of the flower and watercolor pencils to draw the lines on the journaling block.
