Cool Kid

Hi there,

I have a layout to share with you that was submitted at Paper Secrets http://www.papersecrets.net/
for their December Color Challenge.  Below is the palette to use in creating a layout:

Here is what I created using a sketch from Becky Fleck/Page Maps (May 2012):
Here is our grandson looking like he's so tired of grammie's pictures!  But he looks so stinkin' cute in this photo, which was actually taken on Easter when he was only 5 y/o.  I can't believe he's 11 already!!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, DCWV
Ribbon
Distressing
Rub on: Provo Craft
Die Cut Robot
Sticker Quote
Alcohol Inks: Adirondack

My attempt at watered down alcohol inks, spritzed onto the page and spread around by tipping the
page and by blowing on the ink!  This definitely didn't turn out like I wanted!

I did some fussy cutting around the robot and distressed the edges.  I use pop dots to adhere
him to the page.

Ribbon and a rub on was all that was needed on this tag.  I ended up liking it just the way it is!

Found this cute quote in my stash... and unfortunately there was no company noted anywhere on it,
so I have no idea where it came from.

A different view of all the paper pieces and distressing and layering.

Have a wonderful day!
Libby  :)
