CATitude!

Hello!
It was a good day for scrappin!  My kind of days!  :)

I have a layout to share that was submitted at My Creative Sketches for their December Sketch Challenge.  The deadline for submissions is January 14.

This is the sketch:

Here's what I created:
Our cat, Tom.  Zoe was playing with him and things were ok, until Tom had enough... and then his ears got weird and he started hissing and growling.  No more playing with Tom!

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, DCWV
Hearts from patterned paper
Distressing
Twine
Gems
Cat Paw Clear Gem
Circles
Cream Decorative Trim: On the Surface
Foil Embossed Gems: Forever in Time
Various Flowers
Seam Binding Rosette: Hand Made
Font: Cricut Opposites Attract

My title using the Cricut Font.  The circles were distressed along the edges.

This grouping has circles, a flower and gem and the heart was cut from the pp.  The smaller circles and heart were distressed.

These foil embossed gems are so cool!  Love using these.
I'm going to head to the store to pick up more of them!

Lots of flowers and bling.  Gotta love flowers!  The clear cat paw gem is something I've had kicking around for quite some time, and glad I found them to use on my page.

A closer look at the flower grouping on the left of my page.  Various flowers and gems covers up where the decorative trim ends as well as where all the paper ends meet and where the end of the twine for the banner are hidden.

Here's part of the hearts and paws banner.  So sweet.  Love how this turned out.

I tried to get a shot of the whole banner.  I almost made it...
The hearts were adhered to the twine only on the top, leaving the rest of the heart falling freely.
All the hearts were distressed along the edges.

Here's a better photo of the right side of my page.  You can see the circles, flowers, gems and beautiful swirls!  :)

Here's the left side of my page.  Wow, Tom was seriously mad!

Thanks for stopping by!
