I have been a busy little bee... scrapping like crazy!  So, there will be several posts today.

This layout was submitted at Sketches With Color for their Jan 1 - Challenge 1, which was to use the sketch, the color combo plus a handmade banner.

And this is what I created using all the requirements: the sketch, the color combo and a handmade banner:

 This is the three of us at the airport, right before our daughter left for Basic Training.  A sweet lady was watching me continue to set the timer on my camera then "run" to get into the photo and asked if she could take a photo for us.  How cool is that?  

Supplies used:

Paper: DCWV, Colorbok

Gems: Forever in Time, Studio 112, Glitterazzi

Metal Title: Basic Grey

Ribbon

Here's my hand made banner.  The edges of each banner was distressed with a couple banners having ribbon on them and finally, bling was added on each banner.

Gems were added on each end of the metal tag.

Various flowers were added, keeping close to the color palette.
