Joy

Hello there,

Today's layout was submitted at Let's Get Sketchy for their February Week 1 Challenge.
Here's the sketch:

This is what I created:

This is one of the photos taken for our daughter's Senior pictures.  It's so hard to choose only one when they all came out so beautifully.  Yes, we bought a lot (this only happens once)... and I purchased all the proofs too!  Looking back... I'm so glad we did that.

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok, DCWV
Flowers
Chenille Rick Rack
Gems: Forever in Time & Glitterazzi
Sticker Title Letters: Miss Elizabeth's
Tag
Satin Ribbon
Blue Embroidery Fabric
Gold Cording
Mister Huey's Color Mist: Shine

It was a bit tricky cutting the blue fabric... it kept moving around and the banners would be all crooked!  This fabric was actually a scarf... a really beautiful one that I knew would be perfect for creating something crafty with!  This is it!  How do you like it?  The cream banners are wide satin ribbon.  A bit easier to cut.

I gathered several different flowers for this grouping and added gems to bling it up a bit.

I loved these sticker letters.  The color is a bit off from the other colors on my page... but I really liked them, so I went with it.

The tag was covered with pp and a strip of the scarf used for the top of the tag.  Three gems were also added.

Cool chenille rick rack...

A closer look at the flowers and gems.

The banners were adhered on top of the cording.  I didn't bother wrapping them around the top, just placed them close together on the cording.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day!
