The Key to my Heart

Hello,

I have a layout to share that was submitted at Once Upon A... Sketch for their February Challenge.

The challenge is to use -
The Theme "Love"

Some ideas for journaling: Love for your partner, family, parents, siblings, children, work, students, craft, music, extra curricular activities.  Whatever it is that you connect LOVE with.

love.

Here's the sketch:

 This is what I created:

Our kids (who are not really "kids" anymore... but I still call them that).  Love this impromptu photo of them taken on Andrew's birthday.
Supplies used:
 Paper: DCWV
Bling
Buttons
Various Flowers
Leaves
Title Sticker: K&Co.
Metal Heart Pin
Journaling Block Sticker: Daisy d
Sharpie Marker
You're going to be blasted with a slew of photos of, what I call my masterpiece layout.  I absolutely love how this turned out.  The "stems" are what was left when I pulled off all the flowers on a bouquet.  I stood there looking at it and realized I could recycle it on my page.

The journaling block is a sticker.  I found this cute heart pin amongst my buttons.  All I had to do was hammer what was left of the pin on the back so I could place it on my page.  Love it!!

Finally found a good use for these old buttons.

I adhered only the left side of my title to the page and bent it randomly so it would lay better on the flowers.

Here's a different angle showing all the dimension, the stems and bling and buttons.

This gives you a better look at the title.  Are you lovin' these buttons yet?

This cool button is cloth covered.

A few leaves were added on the ends of the flower grouping.

I left the centers intact with the blue flowers.

The gold button was hammered a bit.

Here's my journaling block, which is a cardstock sticker.

Hope you enjoyed the onslaught of photos!
Have a wonderful day.
