My Sis

Hello,

Here's another layout that was submitted at Sketches 4 All for their Happy Friday Color Palette Challenge (color5).  You can see the challenge here.

This is the color palette:

And here's what I created using only the colors from the palette:
My sister and I in 1986!  Yikes... that was a long time ago!  Thank goodness neither of us has the BIG hair thing going on anymore!  :)

Supplies used:
Paper: Colorbok
Ribbon
Distressing
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Quilling: Swirls & Leaves
Prima Flowers
Gems: Home Made
Sticker Letters Title
Sketch: Page Maps (Sept 2009).

I embossed the cardstock above the photo and added a ribbon.

I also embossed the cardstock below the photo, using the same embossing folder.  The matting behind the photo was distressed around the edges.  I decided on no gems in the tiny flowers.

Here's a better look at the flower grouping.  I added quilled swirls and leaves amongst the flowers.

A better look at the cute little leaves.

I actually made gems that matched the color palette!  Woo hoo!  Just a bit excited about it!!  :)

You can actually see some of the quilled swirls in this photo.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
